As one of the top three players representing the Minnesota Timberwolves at this year’s NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, Kammron Taylor is no stranger to the sport of basketball. After his exceptional collegiate career at the University of Wisconsin where he achieved Big Ten Player of the Week, two time All Big Ten, Big Ten All Tournament, NABC All District and 1,000-point scorer, he went on to continue his worldly athletic path. His European basketball career led Kammron to France, Budapest, Cyprus, Colombia, Barcelona and the Ukraine, all while proving his leadership skills and talent for playing the game.
In addition to his athletic efforts, he is involved in his home community of Minneapolis where he hosts summer basketball camps for children. These camps allow Taylor to share his expertise and love for the game with the youth in his area and also helps to strengthen the community as a whole.
He is currently the starting point guard for Neckar-Ludwigsburg in Germany, where he will be playing for the 2012-2013 season. Taylor has also partnered up with ZICO Coconut Water, Land Rover, Burger King, Sprite, and Audi to bring a powerhouse of achievements to the table. His outstanding scoring capabilities on the court have given him the edge that has piqued the NBA’s interest and put him next in line for a spot on an NBA roster. After the 2012 NBA Summer League, Timberwolves’ coaches raved about his performance noting that he was the “surprise of the camp” with his strategic consistency. He is notably one of the most anticipated international athletes for the season.
