Super Bowl XLVII will be played on Sunday February 3, 2013 between the Baltimore Ravens (AFC Representative) and the San Francisco 49ers (NFC Representative). Both teams pulled off road upsets in the conference championship games to reach the Super Bowl, so there should be no shortage of momentum and feelings of destiny on either side.

The city of Los Angeles has approved plans for a new football stadium, a plan reportedly worth $1.5 Billion in construction costs. The proposed stadium would also be connected to the existing L.A. Convention Center, in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Lakers point guard, Steve Nash, will likely miss today’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
