Minnesota Vikings (5-0) – The Vikings are the only undefeated team in the NFL right now. The defense is looking great; Bradford is playing the best football of his career. Things are rolling in Minnesota. Minnesota hosts the Eagles this week after their bye.
New England Patriots (5-1) – The Patriots cruised this week yet again against a solid Bengals team at home. Brady looks timeless in the pocket throwing the ball. This Patriots team faces a hurt Steelers team in week 7. The only reason they are not number one in rankings is because Vikings are undefeated coming off of a bye.
Seattle Seahawks (4-1) – The Seahawks showed just how good they are in route to a solid win over the Falcons. Seattle looks to be the team to beat in the NFC after the Vikings.
Dallas Cowboys (5-1) – The Cowboys solidified their status as a true contender after a win over the Packers in Green Bay. Dak Prescott should be leading the Cowboys going forward. The bye week comes for the Cowboys on a hot streak, they are able to rest up some injuries and face the Eagles in week 8.
Atlanta Falcons (4-2) – The Falcons lost a close one in Seattle, but do not show signs of slowing down any time soon. The passing attack led by Ryan and Jones is too good to be kept in check. The Falcons are becoming a true offensive juggernaut.
Buffalo Bills (4-2) – The Bills have made a huge jump in the rankings after dominating yet again this week taking down the 49ers. The Bills have been much improved after their 0-2 start and are looking like they can make a push for the division in the AFC North.
Denver Broncos (4-2) – The Broncos dropped their second straight this week against the Chargers in San Diego. The Chargers were due for a victory and the Broncos had no answers for that Charger defense. The Broncos should be able to bounce back this week.
Washington Redskins (4-2) – Another emerging team that was 0-2 to start the season is the Redskins who have rattled off four in a row behind the strong play of Kirk Cousins.
Green Bay Packers (3-2) – The Packers got whooped at home by the visiting Cowboys. Rodgers does not look like himself out there. He better get it figured out soon or risk falling behind in that tough NFC North.
Kansas City Chiefs (3-2) – The Chiefs looked much better offensively and defensively this week as they took care of the Raiders swiftly in Oakland. Spencer Ware and Jamaal Charles look to be a devastating two back combo going forward.
Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) –. The Steelers looked terrible yet again this season against a under-performing Dolphins team. Big Ben is out for what looks like 1-3 weeks, and with Landry Jones back there, it hardly peaks the confidence of fans and players.
Houston Texans (4-2) – The Texans made their way back to relevance this week as they were able to slide by a poor Colts team in overtime. The Texans are able to put away mid to low level teams in the league, but are yet to show that they can compete with the top dogs.
Oakland Raiders (4-2) – The Raiders lost one at home to the Chiefs. This was a reality check for this young Raiders team. The Raiders have a great offense but terrible defense, and it will get them in trouble this year.
Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) – The Eagles dropped their second straight this season. Ever since the bye week they have struggled on both sides of the ball. They face a tough test this coming week in Minnesota.
Cincinnati Bengals (2-4) – I know the Bengals are 2-4, but they have played some tough teams. This Bengals team will make a push in their division and are an outlier for a playoff spot at the end of the season. Too much talent on both sides of the ball not to get to the playoffs again.
Arizona Cardinals (3-3) – A huge win on Monday Night Football has everyone talking like these Cardinals are going to make a big splash again in the NFC. David Johnson looks like the best back in the league after a 100+ yard 3 touchdown performance. The Cards are looking relevant again.
New York Giants (3-3) – The Force Awakens, OBJ had a monster game, and they need to get him the ball more in order to get more wins. There problem is that the Eagles, Cowboys and Redskins are good this year.
Detroit Lions (3-3) – Detroit got a good win over a talented Rams team this week. The Lions are all offense and continue to forfeit obscene numbers on the defensive side of the ball. Lions need to be consistent to have any type of shot at a Wild Card birth.
Los Angeles Rams (3-3) – The Rams lost a close one to the Lions this week in Detroit. The Rams offense awoke in this game and hopefully can ride the momentum going forward. Keenum was great in this game, the defense needs to step up, too much talent to give up so many yards.
Baltimore Ravens (3-3) – The Ravens have dropped three straight after going 3-0 to start the season. The Ravens have faced stiff competition the last three weeks and have come away with three losses. Flacco is a shadow of his old self and has been ever since that big contract. The Ravens play in too good of a division to be relevant this year.
Tennessee Titans (3-3) – The Titans look so much better than a season ago. All of that investment in the draft and offensive line has definitely paid off. They are a rushing powerhouse and when Mariota is on his game (like he was this week) they can play with anyone.
San Diego Chargers (2-4) – The Chargers showed this week just how talented this roster is. They put together a complete game and came away with the win. Now of course they made it interesting, but to beat the Broncos is no small feat.
New Orleans Saints (2-3) – The Saints showed how talented this team is offensively this week as they were able to beat the Panthers at home behind the arm of Brees.
Indianapolis Colts (2-4) – The Colts need to follow other teams and get some players on that offensive line to give Luck some time, and they need to find a way to defend people. Should not have lost their game this week. Feel bad for Luck.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-3) – The Buccaneers are coming off of a bye in week 6 and look to get things back on track in week 7. Up next, the 49ers. The perfect week to bounce back.
Jacksonville Jaguars (2-3) – The Jaguars were able to grab a win away from the Bears this week in a close game. The Jaguars still do not look completely in sync offensively, and they will need to right the ship in order to catch up in their division.
Miami Dolphins (2-4) – The Dolphins got a very impressive win this week over the Steelers. Finally the Dolphins showed that they could shut down quality opponents with that defense, hopefully they can use this game as a spring board to propel them forward the rest of the way.
Carolina Panthers (1-5) – The Panthers just look plain bad. They are feeling the post-Super Bowl blues as they continue to struggle against pretty much everyone. The Saints put the whoop on the Panthers this past week. If they want any chance at salvaging this season, something must be done NOW!
New York Jets (1-5) – The Jets got blown out on Monday Night Football and have now dropped to 1-5 on the season. Panic mode is in full swing in New York for this Jets team that just can’t figure things out so far this season.
Chicago Bears (1-5) – I feel bad for the Bears this week as they lost a close one to the Jaguars. In a game where they led all the way into the fourth quarter, you would expect that they come away with a win, but they lost it at the end to a talented Jaguars unit. Hoyer is playing too well not to grab a couple more wins going forward.
San Francisco 49ers (1-5) – CHIP KELLY NEEDS TO BE GONE. I can’t say it enough, his experiment has not worked and the NFL needs to move on. Why are we so quick to forgive Kelly and so fast to banish Tebow?
Cleveland Browns (0-6) – The Browns are the best 0-6 team I have ever seen. The Browns have had a chance in each game they have played this season, and sooner or later they are going to win one. So who is the first victim?
