Chicago Bears QB Brian Hoyer suffered a season-ending broken arm in the loss to the Green Bay Packers last night. Hoyer was sandwiched between two Packers defenders, and fell to the turf clutching his left forearm.

The Bears QB had played well filling in for starter Jay Cutler, posting four consecutive games with 300+ yards and no interceptions – one of only three players in NFL history to accomplish that feat (Peyton Manning & Drew Brees are the other two).
Matt Barkley finished the game for Hoyer, but did not look good, completing 6/15 passes for just 81 yards and two interceptions. It’s still unclear whether or not Jay Cutler will be good to return for next Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings or if Barkley will get another start.
