Broncos C.J. Anderson to Miss Time with Knee Injury

Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson suffered a knee injury during Monday’s game and will likely be sidelined for at least a few weeks while it heals.

The injury is a bone bruise to his right knee, and the recovery time can be anywhere from 3-15 weeks, depending on the severity. Anderson suffered the injury in the first quarter of Monday’s game, but was able to return; although he was dealing with the pain throughout the rest of the game.

Anderson’s injury will give more carries to Devontae Booker, the rookie out of Utah. Booker has been solid in the running game, but his ability to catch and pass block need work.
