League Sources have told ESPN that Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner has resigned.

There is speculation that Turner was about to be fired, but the Vikings front office allowed him to resign to save face. Minnesota was 31st in the league in total offense and 23rd in the league in points per game but it should also be noted that Adrian Peterson went down in game 2 of the season and Teddy Bridgewater was injured in the pre-season
