The injury wasn’t even suffered in last week’s game, but apparently Verrett had been playing through the injury for a couple of weeks. It’s unclear whether playing through the injury worsened the situation.
If Verrett goes down for the year, it would leave the Chargers dangerously thin in the secondary.
